The Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2020 will feature five teams and the best T20 players from around the world. Out of the five participating teams, four are going to the playoffs, which consists of two semis and finals. The Lanka Premier League 2020 runs from November 26, 2020, to December 16, 2020.

Of all the major cricketing nations, Sri Lanka is the last one to have its very own T20 league, which is quite strange because Sri Lanka is one of the nations with a successful cricket team. Other significant members of the team are Manvinder Bisla, a former IPL star, and Manpreet Gony. They are Indian cricketers, not the first choice, but they will definitely attract cricket fans.
There are also Sri Lanka international players like Angelo Matthews, Dinesh Chandimal, Dushmanth Chameera, Amila Aponso, and Isuru Udana. Isuru Udana will lead the bowling challenge, while Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Matthews are without a doubt the big names to follow in the league.
Let us take a look at the Dambulla Hawks. It is a team that has a good T20 sense about them. Its key player, David Miller, is the main batsman. Other players that add strength to the team are Sarfaraz Ahmed, Danushka Gunathilaka, Milinda Siriwardana, Shahid Afridi, Lakshan Sandakan, and Akila Danajaya. Another key player is Mohammad Amir, who is a perfect addition to the team considering his strong bowling attack.
Another dangerous team that has a high chance of bagging the LPL 2020 title is the Jaffna Stallions. It has Dawid Malan, one of the players with the most consistent track record as a T20 batsman. He will definitely be a threat to other teams. Dawid Malan has the strong support of teammates like Thisara Perera, Dhananjaya de Silva, Shoaib Mailik, and Avishka Fernando. These Sri Lanka players are all-rounders. The players leading the bowling attack include Wanindu Hasaranga, Suranga Lakmal, and Usman Shinwari. If the key players perform well, there is a high chance that the Jaffna Stallions will make it to the finals.
Chris Gayle, one of the most popular names in T20 history, is now a part of the Kandy Tuskers. Chris Gayle is an excellent cricketer and was included in the playing eleven during the IPL. It will be interesting to see how he performs and if he carries the team to victory. Kusal Mandi is another important player for Kandy Tuskers.He is a man of promise but is often found to under-deliver. He was supposed to be the next great Sri Lanka batsman, but it’s unfortunate that it didn’t happen. He has been in bad light, and the Lanka Premier League is a perfect opportunity for him to redeem himself.
Famous cricketers who joined Kandy Tuskers are Kusal Perera and Asela Gunaratne. For the prime batting, we expect that Chris Gayle and Kusal Perera will work hand in hand, and will definitely bring the team to victory. For the bowling, the team relies on Nuwan Pradeep, Wahab Riaz, Liam Plunkett, and Dilruwan Perera. It is a pretty impressive bowling attack. Having Chris Gayle and Kusal Perera in the team is enough for other teams to be nervous when battling with Kandy Tuskers.
